She Tends the Sheep and Goats

She tends the sheep and goats.

She is the mother of a nation.

She tends to them like a child.

Like a child she bows down and says

how she is thankful that she is alive,

alive and well to live to tell her tale.

The meanings of her tale are so many.

One is, “Lamb of God,” and the other means ewe.

Who knew this girl or her descendant might save a few.

Not a few, but a few – but a nation.

From everlasting damnation.

Who is this girl? Who is she?

She is Rachel who tends the goats and sheep.
